The forthcoming Gordon Research Conference on Industrial Ecology ‘Transforming the Industrial Metabolism’ chaired by Helga Weisz (vice chair Heinz Schandl) will be held in Lucca, Italy from 1 to 6 June 2014.
The GRC is always a great opportunity for intensive dialogue testing the frontiers of the IE research field and a very rewarding experience for all participants. The focus on industrial metabolism and process of transforming systems of consumption and production of this GRC may well especially appeal to socio-economic metabolism section members.
