Alex is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. He uses systems-level approaches to answer complex environmental questions. Alex is passionate about the energy systems (transport, electricity, residential) and his ultimate research's goal is to build actionable plans that are consistent with our climate change targets. He believes cities have a key role by creating community-based solutions that foster energy conservations, energy awareness and energy innovations.
Alex grew up in France and did his engineering degree there. Then he moved to Canada to do a Master's and a PhD. He had the privilege to spend six months in Singapore for his research.
