About

I am currently and entrepreneur of low cost residential heating systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the home. My work has compared the decision making efficacy of consumer purchasing theories involving energy efficiency products and services for the home. The emerging values based behavioral framework served as a basis for a 600 participant empirical survey of homeowners throughout Western Massachusetts. In edition, it led to teaching activities for "energy coaches" throughout Western Massachusetts working to engage residents with the Mass Save investment purchasing program. I have taught field oriented graduate courses and convened regional workshops on systemic applications to materials/energy sustainability goals at several leading programs in the Northeast. Finally, I served as a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow for advancing renewable energy technological capability throughout cities/states.
