AboutI'm a PhD Candidate in Sustainability Management at School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) at University of Waterloo. My current PhD research focus is around circular economy in SIDS. Before starting my PhD program, I have been an international development professional with a balanced background in both business and sustainable development. My background in business administration led me to an economic development work in multinational and local financial institutions in Pakistan including affiliates of International Finance Corporation (IFC) Pakistan.
With a growing concern for sustainability, I have completed another Masters in Sustainable Development, with major in International Development. I have also worked with the World Bank Group, International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) liaising with government, international aid organizations, aid agencies, and NGOs for international development projects.
