AboutRamin Ghamkhar (MS, SUNY @ Buffalo) is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also has a minor in Sustainability. His work is focused on the Food-Energy-Water nexus & Sustainability of Food Production Systems. In his research, he is using Life Cycle Assessment to evaluate the environmental impacts of food production processes (e.g. aquaponics). He is also compiling economic analysis & mapping techniques to incorporate fiscal and spatial factors in sustainability evaluations.
