Enrique Gilles is Professor of Economics at Universidad Ean in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Environmental Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics (France). He is an economist from Universidad de la República (Uruguay). He has occupied full-time positions at different universities in Colombia, acting as professor and researcher in economics. His research agenda covers the effects of globalization, in particular global value chains, on sustainability: economic activity, employment and emissions using input-output analysis.
