I was born on July 31st, 1971. I started my academic career working in the field of the development of sustainable industrial sugar beet processes, and in the later years, in the field of industrial fermentations and applied microbiology in the agri-food sector, progressively moving the research interests towards microbial ecology and environmental studies. Now I’m working as researcher in Ecology @ University of Ferrara. I have been participating or coordinating more than 40 R&D projects, with public and private partners, and I am Author of 46 scientific publications of international peer-reviewed journals. Graduate courses she has been teaching: Chemistry of Biotechnological Processes, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of Sugars and Sweeteners, and Chemistry of Fermentations. I’ve been primary supervisor of several students in their graduate degree program and of PhD students.
