The UCL Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) is renowned for its commitment to excellence in research and teaching and for its innovative approach to educating Civil Engineering students through a combination of project-led learning and technical understanding. About the role
The successful candidates will contribute to activities across CEGE sections and research groups, educating and inspiring the next generation of UCL CEGE graduates and playing a major role in shaping and delivering ground-breaking research and education in sustainable and resilient infrastructure design, engineering and adaptation (including infrastructure design, structural and environmental engineering and design, infrastructure business case innovation, policy for infrastructure investment). About you
The successful candidates will have completed a PhD (or have equivalent experience), have a strong track record of relevant scholarship and will be able to cover the core provisions of the syllabus at a range of undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the development of new teaching modules. Candidates must show an ability to obtain research funding and collaborate with the industry. Working across disciplinary boundaries and engaging in collaboration beyond the Faculty of Engineering Sciences will be an important requisite to developing new imaginative engineering solutions.
