The Center for Industrial Ecology (CIE) at the Yale School of the Environment (YSE) was established in September 1998 to provide an organizational focus for research in industrial ecology.
The Center brings together Yale staff, students, visiting scholars, and practitioners to develop new knowledge at the forefront of the field. Research is carried out in collaboration with other segments of the Yale community, other academic institutions, and international partners.
Enrich your 2023 sabbatical as a Visiting Fellow at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology. Take advantage of your leave to explore a collaborative research project with faculty and postdocs at our Center, attend classes and lectures of interest and present your current research at our School. This appointment comes with the request to teach the YSE Industrial Ecology course in the 2023 fall term, along with assistance from the faculty at the CIE. A teaching stipend will be offered, dependent upon experience, along with office space and privileges at our Yale School of the Environment campus.
