The University of Queensland is seeking expressions of interest for one Postdoctoral Fellowship (12 months at Academic Level A, with the possibility to be extended for one additional year) as part of the Australia Research Council Discovery Project "Reducing global tourism carbon emissions". The Research Fellow will carry out a significant role in (1) estimating tourism carbon emissions for 160 countries using the input-output model, and (2) identifying major drivers, trade-offs, and environmental costs for tourism development in individual countries based on the decomposition analysis. Candidates need to have strong skills in input-output analysis, large volume data management, and/or environmental modelling.
