I would like to draw your attention to a new recruitment initiative, at Newcastle University - NU Futures (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/futures/) we want to attract new talented academics into our School.
NU Futures is a major campaign to recruit experienced academics from Senior Lecturer -> Professor level to strengthen our research and/or teaching leadership around three broadly defined cluster areas:
- Digital and Data (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/futures/digital-data/)
- Ageing and Health (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/futures/ageing-health/)
- Net Zero (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/futures/net-zero/)
All three of these areas are extremely open in their scope and offer great potential for the school. For example net zero is not just focused on renewable electricity but also climate change adaptation, water security, transport, food, behavioural change etc.
