A postdoctoral research position is available in sustainable operations, with focus on online shopping, reverse logistics, and eco-efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with diverse research groups led by Dr. Vered Blass from Tel Aviv University and Dr. Tamar Makov from Ben Gurion University in collaboration with Professor Charles Corbett from UCLA and Dr. Benjamin Sprecher from TU-Delft.
Requirements: The position requires background in operations and\or industrial ecology. Familiarity with reverse logistics systems is a plus. Responsibilities of the applicant include developing measurement tools for economic and environmental efficiency, big data analysis, manuscript write-up and publication in peer-reviewed journals as well as admin responsibilities including management and preparation of project report, visuals and dissemination materials.
Funding: Funding is available for 12 months. The position requires spending time in Israel however, we are willing to consider suitable candidate who lives elsewhere. A monthly stipend (tax-free) will be paid according to the post-doc stipend levels.
