Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance, a joint project of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, is hiring a Postdoctoral Associate in Sustainable Finance with an anticipated start date between June and August 2021.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in YISF's ongoing research projects under the supervision of YISF Co-Directors Todd Cort and Dan Esty - as well as having an opportunity to pursue their own research.
The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. from a management school, economics program, or an environmental policy program (with strong economics/finance skills), and will have focused on topics related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics and reporting or on sustainable finance more broadly. They will have exceptional research, writing, and verbal communication skills, as well as an inclusive and flexible approach to collaborating with a diverse team of people and organizations.
This position offers a one-year opportunity with a possibility of reappointment for a second year upon satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
