Funded PhD Positions

2 funded PhD positions are available to begin in Spring 2021 with Dr. Shweta Singh at Purdue University. The project focuses on Life Cycle Analysis and Techno-Economic Assessment of Novel Energetic Materials. Additionally, the project will explore circular economy of waste and expired munitions for building sustainable munition manufacturing focusing on nitrogen and phosphorus. The project is funded by US Army Research Lab. 

Preferred Background : Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Mechanical Engineering graduates with experience in Process Modelling (ASPEN/ChemCad), Techno-Economic Optimization and Python programming skills. Familiarity with Input-Output models will be valued.
