Research Assistant

The Industrial Ecology Programme (IndEcol), Department of Energy and Process Engineering (EPT) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is seeking a research assistant to support the modeling of sustainable consumption and production within the design and analysis of potential Sustainable Development Pathways.

The work involves data acquisition and processing, modeling, and analysis/display of model results of the demand for industrial production and the employment, environmental impacts and resource use associated with this industrial production.

The work relates to three ongoing projects, JPI Axis SHAPE, NAVIGATE, and Resource Efficiency and Climate Change (RECC) carried out in collaboration with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, University of Freiburg, IIASA, and Yale University.

The Research Assistant will directly assist Professor Edgar Hertwich and Richard Wood in their contributions to these projects.

Trondheim is the place of duty. MSc in relevant quantitative discipline is required. Apply by 21 September.
