Inaugural Congress on Renewable Energy, Water Resources, and Climate Change in 2013

Congress will explore the topics of resilient and sustainable cities with a focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation. The challenges of climate change adaptation and incorporating uncertainty into the city vision and infrastructure will be discussed together with the impacts and responses of climate change on water resources. Reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, operating in a carbon constrained world and a focus on renewable energy including practical applications and integration into the energy mix will be covered.

Solutions to these challenges, including the role of technologies and smart networks will also be a central theme. Recognizing that technology is only part of the solution, the conference will also address the economic, political and regulatory aspects of water, climate and energy. The congress will attract up to 250 international participants for this global event and will feature a large industry presence and trade exhibition.

Submissions for oral and poster presentation are invited on the topics listed below, supplemented by invited talks by world experts and political leaders.

Conference Topics includes, *Infrastructures *Environment and Ecology *Communications & Information *Climate Change Economics and Policy *Water, Agriculture and Food *Water Resources Management, *Special Programmes, *Water Pollution *Clean Energy Technology, *Bio energy and Biofuels, *Meteorological issues, *Climate change impact on energy resources, *investments, demand and production.

Proposal Submission: Interested presenters should submit an abstract of less than 500 words of text summarizing the proposed presentation and a short bio (100 words, email: or fax: +44(0)7024009071 by 31th October, 2013. Submissions will be judged on relevance to conference themes, clarity of thought, data/documented results, creativity, fit in conference program and other criteria. Deadline for notification of acceptance is 8th November, 2013.

Conference Registration: All presenters are expected to register immediately the abstract is accepted. Registration is free of charge for delegates from developing countries. Also free flight ticket, travel insurance, visa fees and per diem to be provided for all paper presenters and participating delegates from developing countries.
